A NEW WAY TO LIFE Pet Sitting Service was launched in 2004 because of our love of pets and our own difficulty in finding personalized quality care. We offer an alternative to an unfamiliar kennel where your pet is too often "in storage" and can be at risk. We believe that pets deserve “the best care.” When you need to be away, we pledge to give them the best love and affection possible. You will have peace of mind knowing your pet will be in its own home, with a routine and surroundings that assure its comfort.
We will spend quality time with your pet(s), give them exercise and will watch for signs that your companion needs veterinary attention. What's more, we offer additional services, such as bringing in mail and newspapers, watering plants, turning lights on and off, and providing homes with a lived-in look to deter crime.
Each of us is college educated; Pet First Aid and CPR certified. Having grown up on farms, we are long-time animal devotees. Lisa has experience working at veterinary hospitals and shelters. We have two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Cedar and Ernie; and three rescued cats, two orange tabby cats, Miller and Hillary (named because of her spunk and attitude). We also have a great new addition, a black cat named KC Rose.
We are also your four-legged furry kid’s new pal. Lisa is a Pet Advisor with Petlane® bringing our store to you. We have healthy, safe, unique and non-toxic products for dogs, cats, birds and their people. Our pet food is one of the best on the market. Unfortunately, behavioral issues can be related to low quality diets, eating too much, too little or food allergies/sensitivities. The #1 reason pets end up in shelters each year is due to behavior such as digging, scratching, biting and chewing problems; in other words “when good pets do bad things.”
Not only do pets need quality care but so do their people. We believe that all of us (pets & people) desire to prevent or avoid dis-ease. Medical professionals and veterinarians alike see more and more cases of allergies & skin related problems, low energy, toxicity, degenerative ailments plus cancers of all kinds.
